Bible Shipping and Delivery Within and Outside Uganda

The Bible Society of Uganda makes it possible to order Bibles online and have them delivered to different locations within Uganda. If you are ordering from outside Uganda, you can also purchase online and have your order delivered to someone within the country.

Here is what you need to know about shipping and delivery.

Delivery Within Uganda

When placing your order through our online shop, provide accurate delivery and contact information during checkout.

If you are buying the Bibles for yourself, enter the address where you would like your order delivered.

If you are purchasing for someone else, select “Ship to a different address” and provide the recipient’s delivery information.

Please include a valid telephone number so that you or the recipient can be contacted if necessary during delivery.

Ordering from Outside Uganda for Delivery Within Uganda

You can place an order from anywhere in the world and have the Bibles delivered within Uganda.

Your billing address and delivery address do not have to be the same. After entering your billing information at checkout, select “Ship to a different address” and enter the Ugandan address and contact details of the person receiving the order.

You can then complete your purchase online using your card.

Does the Bible Society of Uganda Ship Bibles Outside Uganda?

International shipping is not offered as a standard delivery option because international courier charges can be considerably higher than local delivery costs.

However, if you would like Bibles shipped from Uganda to another country, this may be possible if you are willing to cover the cost of DHL or another suitable international courier service.

Please contact the Bible Society of Uganda before placing such an order so that the team can advise you on the available shipping arrangements and associated courier costs.

A Simpler Option for Buyers Abroad

If you live outside Uganda and the Bibles are intended for someone within Uganda, we recommend ordering through our online shop and having them delivered directly to the recipient in Uganda.

This avoids international courier costs and makes it easier to get the Bibles to the intended recipient.
